Practice
Peter Brogden is a barrister at Keating Chambers, called in 2006. He specialises in construction, energy, shipbuilding and technology disputes. His engineering work has covered power stations, pipelines, oil rigs, LNG plants, refineries, biomass and civil infrastructure. His arbitrations have been seated in Australia, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Africa, among other places. He also sits as an arbitrator (FCIArb) and is an accredited panel adjudicator.

- Lead counsel in a $100 million ICC arbitration about a series of bridge structures in Sydney.
- A delay and disruption dispute about a coal-fired power station in South Africa.
- A series of multi-billion dollar arbitration hearings about near-shore marine works at a gas processing facility.
- A major delay and defects dispute about a semi-submersible oil drilling platform built in South Korea.
- Junior counsel in a £242 million final account dispute on the East London Line reconstruction, and in a £280 million dispute arising from the construction of Wembley Stadium.
Teaching and writing
He is an Honorary Professor at University College London, where he teaches contract administration and law. He is a contributing author of Keating on Construction Contracts and Keating on Offshore Construction and Marine Engineering Contracts. He sits on the Bar Council's Information Technology Panel.
